Math

I believe that this last semester could have been better for me. I lost a lot of motivation because I felt over whelmed and could not find meaning in the math we were using. Now that I look back over the year i wish i had come to my conclusion that this math was important sooner than I did.

I remember the polynomial project, because it used math in art and I liked finding these curves in the landscape. I also really liked the fact that all of my curves worked out and i got a good grade.

One of the mini projects we did in math class this years was to write our own problem, these were word problems about the varying sums of how much money would be produced for certain arrangements of products. These word problems were solved by using a chart and finding the point in the correct zone that would produce the most profit.

Our final project was to create our own quiz by making problems of varying difficulty and then arranging them into a quiz, out teacher Effi then changed the numbers in the problems and the final project was our exhibition.

One of my strengths in math is that when I really take time to focus I can learn almost any concept presented to me. I have a very number shape based mind so math is very easy to do in my head. Unfortunately I have concentration problems and often I miss a concept because I am distracted with friends or something else.
